Spitfire may be the best way to describe Miss Clara! Clara was born into RHR to momma River. She is believed to be a Rottie/ Catahoula mix, and she seems to have gotten the qualities of both breeds multiplied! Intelligent, stubborn, challenging, sweet, and eager for a job, this girl was born to FLY! At just 6 months old, Clara gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children. She has gone through professional training, and was noted to be very smart, maybe a bit too smart! Clara would be perfect for agility work. She definitely needs a job, where she will be both physically and mentally stimulated. Experienced homes preferred.

Buttercup is a sweet girl who is est. to be 5 yrs old. Although she is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, she is thriving now that she is out of the shelter. Buttercup walks 3-4 times a day and she goes back in the crate willingly with the help of a treat or two. She has taken her meds well with her treats. She walks pretty well on the leash although if she can reach it she likes to play with the leash. She loves balls…tennis balls, old soccer balls…but is fine with your taking it away from her. She has had no accidents in her crate and appears to be housebroken. She really seems younger than 4 and is very playful, although I’m having to control that urge. HISTORY: Buttercup was found wandering the streets of King, NC in early October. She was brought to the county shelter where she languished for several weeks. Shelter staff fell in love with her sweet Rottie personality but sadly she was heart worm positive and no rescues stepped up to save her. With her final hours approaching, that's when we, Rottweiler Hearts Rescue, stepped in and a foster was found.
